Please don’t help my kids

In light of the recent theme of my writing – Suffering in general, where is God in all of that, the fact that some form of hardship is necessary for human virtues (such as heroism) to be possible – I found it remarkable that somebody pointed me to this article at this point in my life. As you read this article written by a parent about their child in a playground, imagine if God may have written a somewhat similar article about us, his children in our “playground” called Earth. Many of the same principles apply just on a substantially larger scale, and with substantially loftier goals than merely learning to climb a ladder.
