Upcoming events – update

The list of upcoming events is growing, so a quick update was in order. We have been getting a lot of positive hype about our upcoming monthly meeting (this Saturday). It looks like there is a good chance the number of newcomers will outnumber the regular attenders!

But that’s not all that’s going on.

If you live a little further west of us, or are willing to travel, there is another Apologetics conference one week prior to the conference in Calgary. Apologetics Canada is having their 2013 conference on March 1 and 2. Speakers include Dr. William Lane Craig, Dr. Andy Bannister, MD John Patrick, J. Warner Wallace and Andy Steiger. That’s an impressive line-up, well worth the visit if you are able.

Of course, if you live around Calgary there is another impressive conference – Be Ready (bereadycalgary.com) – happening one week later on March 8-9 as we have already mentioned. We are happy to report some additional details. On March 7 at the University of Calgary there will be an “evening with William Lane Craig.” This is free of charge so let your friends, family, co-workers, neighbours, enemies, accountants, bus drivers and hair stylists know about it. I’m pretty sure we can expect a small gathering of non-Christians at the event so the dialogue should be lively.

Various speakers at the conference will also be speaking at various churchs around Calgary, so keep an eye out for guest speakers on March 10.

Plans are also in the works to have an NCAC open house immediately following the conference. Details will be posted as they become available.

Lots of cool stuff coming up! Hope to see you there.
